Quick Setup

Quick Setup provides a streamlined configuration path for new users. It is designed to simplify the onboarding process by guiding through the minimum required settings to bring a website under MaxiSafe protection. This feature reduces manual effort and helps ensure that essential security components are correctly configured from the start.

1. Configure the Website Domain and Origin Server
   Specify the domain name and origin server IP or hostname to be protected. Note: If the domain is behind a third-party CDN (e.g., Cloudflare, Akamai), obtain the origin server details from the CDN provider.

2. Configure the SSL Certificate
   Select one of the following options to enable HTTPS support:
   • Auto-Generated Certificate (recommended for efficiency and cost-effectiveness)
   • Use Existing Certificate

3. Configure Security Features
   
   • AI-WAF Protection: Always enabled; provides baseline intelligent threat detection.
   • Bot Management: Optional; enable based on traffic analysis and business needs.
   • API Protection: Optional; recommended for applications with exposed API endpoints.
