SSL Certificate

MaxiSafe provides two options for securing website connections via SSL/TLS certificates:

Managed Certificate

This option allows users to bind their own SSL certificates to their domains for secure HTTPS access.

VAS-SSL Agreement Notice

Before enabling Managed Certificates, users must acknowledge the following:

  • SSL is a value-added service (VAS), and usage may incur additional charges.
  • Binding an SSL certificate to a domain enables encrypted HTTPS access.
  • If users do not have their own SSL certificate, they can subscribe to a CDN Wildcard Certificate or a Subject Alternative Name (SAN) Certificate.
  • The CDN Wildcard Certificate enables HTTPS access through the MaxiSafe-provided CDN domain, e.g., https://www.abc.cdndomain.com/123.jpg.
  • Contact your account manager for CDN Wildcard or SAN Certificate subscription.

Auto Let's Encrypt Certificate

For users without a custom SSL certificate, MaxiSafe integrates Let's Encrypt for automated SSL provisioning.

VAS-SSL Agreement Notice

Before enabling Auto Let's Encrypt, users must acknowledge the following:

  • SSL is a value-added service.
  • The issuance process may take some time, and DNS records must be correctly configured for domain validation.
  • The Let's Encrypt certificate automatically renews before expiration.
  • The automated integration is free, but certificate usage must comply with MaxiSafe’s service policies and Let's Encrypt’s policies.

By configuring SSL certificates, users ensure encrypted communication, improve website security, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
