Activate/Inactivate a Domain

LLS supports activating/inactivating an ingest domain or a delivery domain.

When the ingest domain is inactivated, the following configurations are also disabled:

  • Transcoding template
  • Recording template
  • Screenshot template
  • CNAME record of the ingest domain
  • Origin domain

All ongoing streams are immediately stopped, and livestreaming remains unavailable until the ingest domain is reactivated. When the ingest domain is reactivated, the corresponding configurations are restored.

When the delivery domain is inactivated, the corresponding configurations will be disabled. All delivery requests to the delivery domain are rejected. When the delivery domain is reactivated, the corresponding configurations are restored. All delivery requests to the delivery domain are accepted.
