Single Linear TV Live Stream

For traditional broadcast and media customers, OTT workflows typically involve complicated configurations across multiple components, including live media processing, content acceleration, and storage services. These steps often require repetitive operations.

Conversant LSS unifies live stream processing, distribution acceleration, and storage management within a single console. By automating most configuration parameters and exposing only essential options, LSS significantly simplifies the complicated configurations and minimises repetitive operational tasks.

Steps:

1. Click Dashboard/Channels and click Create Channel.
2. Enter the channel name.
3. Click Create Input:
   • Enter the app name and the stream name.
   • Select the input protocol and confirm by clicking Create Input.
4. Click Create Output: Enter the output name and select the output protocol.
5. Click Create Preset: Enter the preset name, configure the video and audio parameters, then click Create Preset.
6. Click Create Output.
7. Click Create Delivery. Enter the delivery domain and click Create Delivery.
8. Confirm Create Channel.
9. Go to Channels > Channel Viewing.
10. Copy the input address and add it to the encoder’s configuration for the channel.
11. Copy the delivery URL and add it to the CMS playback address for the channel.
12. Start streaming from the encoder.

The channel is now streaming and accessible through the application.
