Screenshot Template

The Screenshot template manages creating, querying, modifying, and deleting templates. Screenshot templates are used to configure live screenshot (also known as live snapshot) settings.

Screenshot templates support three scopes of application:

  • Apply to all livestreams under a specific ingest domain (recommended).
  • Apply to all livestreams under a specific app within the ingest domain.
  • Apply to a single specified livestream.

In addition to the scope, each screenshot template defines the image format and storage configuration.

LLS Live Screenshot captures each I-frame from the ingest stream and saves it as a PNG or JPEG image. The generated images are then uploaded to one of the following storage destinations: Conversant OSS (recommended), AWS S3, FTP, or SFTP.

At the start and end of each screenshot session, LLS sends the screenshot-related information to the configured notification endpoint via the notification service..
