Transcoding Template

Transcoding template management includes creating, querying, editing, and deleting templates. Transcoding templates are used to configure media processing policies, including transcoding and packaging.

Transcoding templates support three scopes of application:

  • Apply to all livestreams under a specific ingest domain (recommended).
  • Apply to all livestreams under a specific app within the ingest domain.
  • Apply to a single specified livestream.

In addition to the scope, each transcoding template defines the transcoding presets and delivery protocols.

LLS currently supports the following streaming protocols:

  • Low-latency protocols: Low-Latency HLS (LL-HLS) and HTTP-FLV
  • Regular-latency protocols: HLS and MPEG-DASH
